Workflow manager More info Less info

You’re organised, proactive and adaptable. You excel working in a fast-paced environment, and can juggle multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders without dropping a ball. You have outstanding communication skills and are as confident managing up as you are down.

You take pleasure in ensuring the smooth flow of work through a creative business. And you do it with flair, allocating the right work to the right people at the right time. You’re a superpower in thinking ahead to anticipate resource and skills needs and are dedicated to seeking out new approaches to continuously improve process.

Ideally, you’ll have proved yourself for 3+ years as a traffic/workflow manager or (junior) project manager in a creative agency. PM qualifications are not a requirement; for us, experience is everything.

Catalysis is a specialist B2B marketing consultancy. We fuse customer and industry knowledge to build content and campaigns that speak from an outside-in perspective.

Among our clients are Autodesk, Capgemini, HPE, IBM, and another that’s bigger than all four of those, but that contractually we can’t mention here. We’re proud to be one of few independent agencies that engages with so many of the tech industry’s heavy hitters, at a global level.

Our clients like us because we hire interesting, smart people and help them do their best work. As part of that, we’ve built a detailed training framework with that supports people to progress their careers and explore specialisms when they’re ready.

We’re committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion and our team is home to people from a wide range of backgrounds. We’re also keeping a keen eye on our environmental impact, and are working to become a zero-waste, 100%-carbon-offset business.

The job

You’ll be working as part of a talented and motivated team of in-house designers, artworkers, animators, video editors, developers, project managers, copywriters, and consultants to deliver digital content campaigns.

You will manage the flow of tasks through the studio, allocating resources, including freelance talent, to deliver projects to time and budget. You’ll support the creative director and senior studio team by ensuring everyone follows due process to deliver outstanding creative work.

Once resource is allocated, you’ll work with one of our project managers to brief in projects, making sure everyone knows what they are doing, why and by when. And you’ll run regular studio stand-ups to check everything’s on track, and troubleshoot if not. You’ll report on the status of multiple concurrent projects to multiple stakeholders on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis to get the job done.

Thinking ahead, you’ll proactively meet with account teams to understand resourcing needs and take responsibility for pipeline management and the processes that support it. And you’ll attend weekly meetings with senior studio team members to discuss and prioritise upcoming projects.

Last but not least, you must keep up to date on workflow management best practice and evolving industry trends, standards and technologies. And, of course, we’ll want you to share your knowledge with your colleagues – refining or overhauling process as needed.
